About the Position: Serves as the Program Analyst and Fires subject matter expert for Multi-Domain Task Force (MDTF) formations for the Fielded Force Integration Directorate.
This position is eligible for regular and recurring telework - as determined by the agency policy.
Duties
Develops and codifies the Army's Non-Material DOTLMPF-P Integration effort in policy and regulation to ensure TRADOC's ability to deliver a trained and professional Army.
Serves as the organizational integrator and Fires subject matter expert for Multi-Domain Task Force (MDTF) formations.
Serves as key analyst responsible for acting as TRADOC's centralized manager for MDTF capability development activities; specifically for Fires.
Plans, organizes, and executes a wide range of complex capability development projects.
Serves as a key member on the Combined Arms Center general staff.
Conduct capability development for MDTF Fires.
Conducts organizational force development and modernization efforts across the community of practice within the fielded force.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The incumbent must obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
- This position is covered by the Civilian Drug Abuse Testing Program.
- Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R, Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified as Critical Under the Drug Abuse Testing Program, or a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and comply with drug testing procedures.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) requirement of up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Planning, coordinating, and integrating joint and multi-national indirect fire capabilities through the operations and targeting processes; 2) Conducting studies, analyzing findings, and making recommendations related to Fires capability development. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
