About the Position: This position is located at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Center in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Researches, compiles and summarizes data as needed to formulate or revise the annual budget. Assists Budget Officer with Resource Planning Tool (RPT) monthly and uploads RPT each month into the Financial Management Information system (FMIS). Drafts procedural guidance to department, division, and clinic managers concerning the format for submission of annual estimates of funding needs. Train or arrange for the training of team members in methods and techniques of team building. Prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
• Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Financial Management Level II Certification.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes using automated systems to extract financial data for reports and analyzing budgets to resolve problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
