About the Position: This position is located at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Center in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

Provide ongoing review and assessment of existing budgetary programs. Develop and implement budgetary reports. Prepare and present budgetary briefings to the Chief, Resources Management Division and/or the Commander. Supervise employees and assign responsibilities for various tasks. Serve as principal technical advisor to the Senior-Program Budget Advisory Committee (PBAC)

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
• This is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
• One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.

Basic Requirement for Supervisory Budget Analyst: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: providing guidance on all phases of budget formulation; analyzing budget data to ensure compliance with prescribed laws, policies and regulations; presenting budgetary briefings to senior leadership; and utilizing financial systems such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) or similar financial systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
