About the Position: This position is located at the G8 Office, Program & Budget Division at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Provide guidance to Maneuver Support Center of Excellence organizational elements on all phases of budget formulation. Prepare Commander's budget submission statements to higher headquarters. Analyze budget guidance from higher headquarters to determine impact on installation mission operations. Prepare briefings and/or documents utilizing various financial systems such as: General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Operation Data Store (ODS), and/or Institutional Training Resource Model (ITRM). Recommend major reprogramming of funds to senior leaders to insure balance is efficiently maintained among major mission activities.
