You will serve as a JOINT FIRES DELIBERATE TARGETING MANAGER within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will manage all aspects of theater joint fires and targeting, to include targeting and attack policy, strategic target selection, and fires and targeting guidance for the employment of joint fires.
You will ensure all fires and targeting plans and operations align with current National Security Strategy, National Military Strategy, the Unified Command Plan, and pertinent Contingency Plans supporting the Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan.
You will review, analyze and evaluate fires and targeting plans of subordinate joint forces, sub-unified commands, service components, and functional components.
You will ensure that fires and targeting plans, objectives and priorities are properly nested and that intelligence support to targeting supports USINDOPACOM target development priorities, maximizing efficiency and unity of effort.
You will lead the Joint Fires and Targeting Enterprise through the deliberate targeting process and all aspects of the Joint Targeting Cycle.
You will integrate kinetic and non-kinetic options in support of USINDOPACOM strategic planning, contingency planning, and crisis action planning other tasks as assigned by the J3 to include specific operational fires and targeting.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1). Providing systems administration and evaluation of computer networks including multi-disciplined targeting/intelligence automated systems.
2). Developing, coordinating and executing policy and guidance on strategic targeting plans including targeting and attack policy, strategic targeting selection, and targeting guidance for operational fires.
3). Coordinating with operational personnel by identifying needs and capabilities and translating them into automated standard specifications.
4). Training and educating staff on command theater strategic and operational targeting system applications.
