Duties
You will conduct preliminary research and physically count aviation material, recording counts utilizing Automated Identification Technology (AIT) handheld devices.
You will enter inventory results into multiple databases as required.
You will coordinate and work closely with warehouse personnel to replace missing or damaged barcode bin labels and resolve identification/physical material discrepancies.
You will provide technical support and resolve customer inquiries such as missing material, requisition status, proof of delivery/receipt, or system/transactional errors.
You will resolve system/transactional errors by research of interconnected supply/maintenance transactions and processing adjustment transactions.
Requirements

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You will be required to lift and carry parts, equipment, and packed containers that weigh up to 40 pounds.
- This position may be subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector following standardized supply work practices such as recording a physical count of materials utilizing hand-held devices and reviewing requisition documents. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Utilizing one or more automated database to enter information and retrieve recurring reports; 2) Conducting physical inventory of materials to resolve identification and physical material discrepancies; 3) Answering customer inquiries in regard to missing material, delivery status, and transactional errors; 4) Reviewing documents to ensure completeness and correctness.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed four years of education above high school level;
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
