Duties

You will review and implement procedures to satisfy new requirements, regulations, or policies surrounding inventory management. You will investigate inventory problem areas to determine and implement corrective action for customer supply requests. You will monitor supply support performance indicators within databases for obtaining metrics to manage difficult supply and demand patterns and configuration changes. You will plan and coordinate material support for assigned programs and project areas to negotiate changes, schedules, or material problems. You will maintain effective intra-personal relationships with military and civilian personnel at all levels on and off station. You will monitor and maintain all inventory files and records and perform required maintenance. You will gather and analyze information from a wide variety of sources and provide accurate data in multi formats to upper level chain of command.

Requirements

Qualifications

GS-08: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing automated systems to maintain inventory data for a supply program to ensure material readiness for department operations. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing support in maintaining inventory data for a supply program to ensure material readiness for department operations. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

One full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled.

OR

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
