You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the MATERIAL CONTROL BRANCH, MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT of STRIKE FIGHTER WING PACIFIC STAFF.

Duties

You will perform a full range of logistics support for the staff and subordinate commands. You will manage Navy funds and make purchases. You will conduct extensive and exhaustive research. You will utilize information tracking systems and other financial management tools. You will instruct senior and junior squadron personnel in the proper use of funding.

Requirements

• This is a bargaining unit position.
• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing supply and logistical support by utilizing automated information systems to manage funds, make purchases or conduct research for the continued success of the maintenance department's projects and programs.
