You will serve as the Branch Head, Code DC43300, within the Program & Business Analysis Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will work with the team to identify the most efficient methods of providing business and financial support to customers.
You will he provide guidance and information to teammates on policy, financial systems, and tools.
You will create budgets as well as analyze, interpret, evaluate program-funding plans, monitor execution, and identify actual or potential funding issues.
You will make decisions and provide sound financial technical advice to the Executive Leadership Team, Project Leads, and IPT Project Managers.

- This is a Financial Management Level 3 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/11) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1). Advising and performing work pertaining to financial execution processes; 2) Extracting financial information from systems and providing analysis using Excel formats; 3) Mentoring and leading employees including directing and prioritizing work assignments; 4) Developing and managing the execution of budgets as well as making recommendations; 5) Utilizing DoD or similar Financial Management policy and regulation to performing work; 6) Interpreting customer requirements and providing written and oral communication across all levels of leadership.
