This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, Policy & Analytics Branch, of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of depositor and consumer protection topics such as fair lending, unfair and deceptive acts and practices (UDAP), community development and financial inclusion.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. For CG-12: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience conducting empirical analysis of consumer financial products or services; writing computer code to conduct the analysis using statistical software packages (e.g., SAS or STATA or similar package); and providing analysis results.
For CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience conducting empirical analyses of consumer financial products or services; writing computer code to conduct the analysis using statistical software packages (e.g., SAS or STATA or similar package); and writing reports presenting analysis results.
