You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Military) in the Performance Evaluation Section, Manpower Management Records and Performance (MMRP) Branch, Manpower Management Division of the HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will process all incoming Marine Corps fitness reports (performance evaluation) from an online database and from a paper form.
You will screen incoming fitness reports to ensure they are procedurally correct and adhere to military policy, regulations, and guidelines.
You will determine the best course of action for fitness reports that are not in compliance to make the report comply with standards.
You will respond to and initiates phones calls to reporting officials internally and externally to the Marine Corps.
You will control reports that have to be returned to reporting officials for correction and resubmission.
You will prioritize the flow of fitness reports in order to process and evaluate specific military ranks to meet Selection Board deadline or other criteria for prioritizing fitness reports.
You will scan incoming paper form fitness report into the PES Back Office.
You will research mismatched names and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-06
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing expertise in clerical and administrative support duties. Specialized experience must include performing most of the following duties: 1) Researching and auditing a variety of personnel actions (awards, personnel records, assignment, or separations and retirement); 2) Verifying prior service by researching current and historical records; 3) Preparing accurate official correspondence; and 4) Retrieving information from office automation databases and online systems to reconstruct documents and respond to queries.
