This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare (CM), Medicare Drug Rebate and Negotiations Group (MDRNG), Division of Contract Support (DCS). As a Management Analyst, GS-0343-13, you will apply qualitative and quantitative methods to the analysis and evaluation of administrative operations, organizations, and management practices to determine their efficiency and effectiveness.

Duties

Identify and analyze issues, problems, and challenges facing the organization to recommend solutions to organizational leadership. Provide expert analysis and evaluation of work processes and policies, management practices and work operations. Compile data and prepare administrative and management reports. Advise managers and program officials on policies and procedures including actions to be taken to accomplish work in accordance with established requirements.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
