You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Naval Special Warfare Program Office (PMS 340) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS.

Duties

You will be responsible for establishing acquisition program objectives, planning, coordination, technical direction, research and development, administration, and budget formulation and justification for all phases of (PMS 340) programs. You will execute program plans to achieve milestones and requirements for the full scope of activities associated with acquisition issues. You will provide long range plans for the cost, performance, schedule of diverse teams and acquisition efforts within the scope of assigned areas. You will develop risk management strategies to identify and manage potential risk areas while meeting program/project budget requirements and balancing cost and schedule. You will interface with manufacturer/government Program Managers, engineering and technical support, contracting personnel, and financial analysts to ensure effective program/project management. You will review requests and recommendations for changes in equipment allowances and material planning, study reports, and makes final technical evaluation and determination. You will manage and monitor obligation and expenditure of appropriated funds for assigned projects. You will ensure cost, schedule, performance, regulatory and statutory requirements, and customer expectations and requirements are balanced appropriately. You will represent the program during leadership meetings, reviews, status briefings, and meetings with present and new customers from the Navy and other services. You will evaluate intermediate and depot level maintenance and maintenance engineering program reports and data for accomplishment of program/project objectives, compliance with direction, and accountability.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluating program requirements (e.g., financial, contractual, resource allocation, performance, schedules) to develop strategies for acquisition and life cycle support of weapon systems or related components.
