You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the RANGES AND TARGETS BUSINESS ANALYSIS DIVISION, PROGRAM AND BUSINESS ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will assist with budget development, execution, forecasting, trending, analysis and detailed financial reporting on direct funding. You will provide recommendations and present quality reports and analysis to the customer and senior analysts. You will receive, track, monitor, analyze, documents, report, allocate, reconcile and maintains records of financial execution. You will present quality reports and analysis to the customer and senior financial analysts.

Requirements

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This is a Financial Management Level 01 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

DA-03 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Extracting data from automated systems and formatting into reports; 2) Assisting with financial analysis and interpretation and evaluation of funding plans; 3) Tracking funding, validating expenses, reviewing transactions in accounting system, and reconciling accounts; 4) Making recommendations for financial data corrections; 5) Demonstrating knowledge of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning and the financial formulation and execution processes. DA-02 Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (DA-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Analyzing problems to identify significant factors; 2) Gathering pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 3) Planning and organizing work 4) Communicating effectively orally and writing. master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.B. or J.D., if related

4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
