You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the Budget Division of NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVWARSYSCOM). NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Duties
You will review and analyze field activity input and DFAS work products for the formation if Department of the Navy, OSD, and President's budget submission.
You will provide effective and timely communication with FMB and NWCF field activities as required to ensure budget justifications are provided within deadlines established by FMB.
You will analyze budget execution results for areas of emphasis during the Quarterly Budget Execution Reviews, End of Year budget exhibits and monthly DDRS Financial Statements.
You will demonstrate outreach to customers and/or engagement with business partners to enhance the performance of assigned functions to better contribute to the Departments mission.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Reviewing and analyzing NWCF Activity input and DFAS work products for the formulation of Department of the Navy, OSD, and President's Budget submissions; communicating with FMB and NWCF activities to ensure budget justifications are provided; AND reviewing and analyzing budget (IT, CIVPERS, and NWCF) exhibits and execution results for areas of emphasis during the Quarterly Budget Execution Reviews, End of Year budget exhibits and monthly DDRS Financial Statements.
