Duties

This position is part of the DoD, Department of Defense . The incumbent will be responsible for serving as a Supervisory Program Analyst advising the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) leadership on all matters related to acquisition of program requirements across the Missile Defense System (MDS). As a Supervisory Program Analyst at the NH-0343-4 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as Supervisory Program Analyst expertly and advises the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) leadership on all matters related to program cost, schedule and performance across the Missile Defense System (MDS). Ensures that MDS program/project requirements are properly identified, budgeted, and acquired in accordance with Agency and DoD acquisition regulations and policies. Assesses, manages, and eliminates risk related to program cost, schedule, and performance. Manages and oversees a wide variety of functions that provide support to heads of program elements, and other agency functions. Develops and adjusts workload priorities, policies, and processes in the area of response to taskers and other executive communication, manpower, budgeting and resource accountability, and other special projects and programs. Qualifications

You may qualify at the NH-04 broadband level if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Experience developing acquisition strategies and recommending courses of action to maintain cost and schedule requirements OR Experience developing and conducting management reviews, decisions, and information briefings related to policy, planning and assessments OR Experience leading, planning, and evaluating the activities of cross-functional teams responsible for the procurement of knowledge based services OR Experience in successfully managing large and complex Department of Defense or related industry programs Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
