Duties
You will serve as the SYSTEMS Lead and oversees the restoration efforts of application and system outages by coordinating enterprise-level fix actions.
You will plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and applications software in accordance with applicable change requests.
You will manage MCEN systems and resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and restoration services
You will provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to NETOPS Manager and other Information Technology Specialists on critical IT issues.
You will provide timely reporting and tracking of all incidents occurring in the MCEN in coordination with MCEN Battle Captain and supporting staff per applicable DoD, DoN, and USMC policies.
Requirements

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area System Administrative Specialist, level Full Performance within 12 months of appointment.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience at the next lower grade would be demonstrated by:
