You will serve as a Director I2SD in the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA), Technical Director and Division Directors of MCTSSA CAMPEN.
Duties
You will propose the design, development, implementation, and investment into IT systems and services for the command.
You will direct, coordinate, and monitor IT budgets, resources, and operational enhancement programs.
You will manage IT programs and priorities, developing and deploying performance measures for IT investments.
You will monitor the performance of IT programs and develop position papers and recommendations to support the continuation, modification, or termination of existing actions.
You will serve as a resource for senior managers on initiating investments, verifying measures for cost, timeliness, quality, and system capability, and performing cost-benefit analysis for all proposed IT procurements.
You will oversee the development and implementation of IT policies, evaluating proposed systems, networks, and software designs for any potential security threats.
You will plan and review subordinates' work, set and adjust priorities, evaluate performance, provide guidance, and identify their developmental and training needs.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a Drug Testing Designated Position. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Acquisition Workforce (AWF) members must complete 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two (2) years, in accordance with DoDI 5000.66.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-III pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing IT system development and implementation, advising on architecture, managing budgets, directing policies, conducting cost analysis, and evaluating team performance.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Utilize analytical skills, evaluation techniques, and re-engineering methods to assess the technical, financial, and programmatic implications of prospective IT endeavors.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Manage stakeholder requirements from internal/external agencies helping execute and accomplish organizational goals and objectives.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the workforce communicating organizational goals and objectives while aligning with the command's initiatives.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: analysis, reporting, coordinating, and facilitating working groups to meet and resolve project objectives.
