About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Clarksville, Tennessee about 45 miles northwest of Nashville.
Duties
Plan, develop, coordinate and integrate assigned study/project scope, budget, schedules, procurement strategies and manpower estimates which are mutually acceptable to DPW and the customer.
Coordinate and maintain liaison with users of facilities, requesters, contractors, etc., to gather information, furnish advice and assistance or effect mutual accord on scheduling, plans, specifications and contracts.
Consult with shop supervisors on problems relating to craftsmanship, material, equipment and procedures.
Reconcile customer expectations with directorate performance and responsible for furnishing authoritative responses to project questions and issues.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires submission upon entry and annually a Financial disclosure Statement, OGE-450 (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08), Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Determining best construction and repair methodology for utilities maintenance projects; 2) Conducting quality assurance through field inspections; AND 3) Conducting progress meetings with project stakeholders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
