THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST-Title 5, Position Description Number T5664000 and is part of the WI 426 RGT, Wisconsin National Guard.
Duties
Plans, organizes, and oversees the full complement of administrative and technical support activities.
Responsible for establishing and developing complex administrative operations and procedures that affect the orderly and efficient flow of work within the Garrison Training Center (GTC) directorates.
Plans, organizes, and executes travel arrangements for the Command Staff to include travel and hotel reservations, travel orders, and assist with the planning and coordinating visits from distinguished visitors.
Serves as the Records Management Coordinator for the Base Operations Manager.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the position you must have at least 1 year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person, over the phone, and through email for contacts to convey information. Applicants must have experience providing technical guidance, customer support and services, and assistance. Must have experience scheduling facilities and resources and disseminating schedules. Candidate should have strong oral communication skills and customer service skills. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Preferred applicants have experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Access and/or the entire Office 365 suite and associated apps.
