Duties

As a Public Health Analyst (Partnership) you will: Cultivate and maintain relationships with other organizational units within CDC, including other national centers, and offices within the CDC Office of the Director including coordinating centers, CDC Washington, FMO/Leg, and others. Represent the organization in planning discussions within the CDC. Serve as a key advisor in developing essential partnerships and partnership plans that support the Division's mission. Ensure that partnership activities are aligned with the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values. Perform independent public health research and evaluation. Manage the processes for establishing and tracking the organization's goal-setting efforts. Responsible for the overall completeness and quality of a comprehensive partnership plan.

Qualifications

All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement. Minimum Qualifications: To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, which must include the following experience: identifying, developing, and maintaining infectious disease-related public health partnerships, including industry partners; developing and implementing national strategic partnership plans; and conducting partner events and engagement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education

Copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience. An official transcript will be required if you are selected.

College or university degree generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. For a list of schools which meet these criteria, please refer to Department of Education Accreditation page.
