You will serve as a Production Business Resource Coordinator in the Production Resources Administrative Branch within the Production Resources Workforce Division of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will coordinate and assist with execution of business activities, support services, and strategic planning for the Production Resources Department.
You will conduct studies that involve recommending changes to organizational and staffing structures, develop workload and manpower projections and coordinate improvements to operational and work process problems and initiatives.
You will perform program analysis of collected data, recognize weakness in processes, and assist in formulating and recommending meaningful solutions that results in positive impact and overall improvements for the Department.
You will provide support with identifying actual or potential problem areas, trends, deficiencies and areas of imbalances.
You will provide program support to the Branch Manager or Senior Specialist for current and new initiatives, administrative support services, strategic planning and personnel resources.
You will prepare travel request using the Defense Travel System (DTS) for CONUS/OCONUS travel for the Production Resources Department.
You will advise travelers of proper travel entitlements and requirements for temporary duty assignments and resolves travel issues or discrepancies.
You will Interpret and incorporate current travel advisories, travel regulations, and local policies and practices to ensure conformity with appropriate travel entitlements and authorized expenses.
You will be responsible for annual review of Department directives, memos, instructions, etc. to ensure alignment with record keeping guidance and requirements.
You will coordinate routing of documents with appropriate managers and ensure correct format and serializing of directives, memos, instructions, etc.
Requirements

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with coordinating a business administrative program and utilizing software to prepare correspondence or reports.
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with planning or coordinating a human capital or business administrative (i.e. staffing, travel, organizational planning, personnel) program; analyzing policy and procedural problems and utilizing a range of software applications (i.e. Microsoft word, Excel Outlook, etc.) to prepare correspondence or reports.
