You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will provide the Comptroller Group with sound advice, guidance, mentoring and subjective input to goals and visions.
You will be responsible for business planning activities within the Group to ensure compliance with strategic mission, vision, and goals.
You will work with the management team to identify future hiring requirements and uses a broad spectrum of knowledge and resources to assist in resolutions and decision-making regarding personnel hiring authorities.
You will work closely with Comptroller Group leadership on manpower needs/costs.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level 2/3 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
(DA-04): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/10) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1)Analyzing financial data, and providing guidance and recommendations based on that analysis; 2) Presenting financial data effectively verbally and in writing; 3) Entering and/or reviewing personnel actions (e.g. hiring requests, promotions, awards, etc.) for processing through Human Resources Department; 4) Performing financial tasks (e.g., replying to financial data calls, ensuring all labor is accounted for in budget data calls, participating in financial reviews, monitoring financial/business operations to identifying operational improvements); 5) Advising and providing solutions to management on administrative and personnel issues.
(DA-03): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-5/8) or pay band (DA-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Analyzing financial data, and providing guidance and recommendations based on that analysis; 2) Presenting financial data effectively verbally and in writing; 3) Entering and/or reviewing personnel actions (e.g. hiring requests, promotions, awards, etc.) for processing through Human Resources Department; 4) Performing financial tasks (e.g., replying to financial data calls, ensuring all labor is accounted for in budget data calls, participating in financial reviews, monitoring financial/business operations to identifying operational improvements).
