About the Position: This is a Permanent position as a Supply Technician (OA) with the LOG READINESS CTR, SUPPLY & SERVICES DIVISION AMMUNITION BRANCH FORT JACKSON, SC 29207.

Duties

Provide ammunition support to all authorized customers. Perform stock control functions utilizing the current automated accounting system for ammunition Prepares inventory reconciliation documents and verifies inventory counts as required. Prepares reports defining any shortages and overages for the ASP supervisors’ signature for necessary accounting actions. Serves as the ASP government credit card holder responsible for purchasing required supplies to support the ASP operation.

Specialized experience: One year specialized experience which includes providing ammunition support to all authorized customers; perform stock control functions utilizing the current automated accounting system for ammunition; schedule units/organizations for services at the ammunition supply point (ASP); provide customer service functions as the ASP receptionist; perform entry/exit access control functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). TYPING PROFICIENCY: This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Manages ResourcesSupply PlanningTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
