About the Position: This position will develop, coordinate, implement, and oversee all installation ammunition and supply support plans and operations while working closely with the general supply and installations support supervisors and customers.
Duties
Monitor all programs and operations to ensure established standards are being met.
Develop long and short-range production support plans.
Evaluate work output to identify needed resources.
Prepare and present briefings pertaining to installation support requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position is a Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as Lautenberg Amendment. This act bans individuals convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence and certain others from possession or access to firearms or ammunition.
- This position meets the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening and random testing.
- This position is designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations, you are required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- This position requires you possess and maintain a valid stateside driver's license.
- This position requires an Arms, Ammunition and Explosives Security Certification/Screening in accordance AR 190-11.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes
Experience researching technical supply specifications, publications, or supply sources;
Experience reviewing technical ammunition regulations, policies, or procedures to recommend corrective actions;
Experience utilizing automated systems to document materiel movement; or
Experience assisting in the development of processes to ensure the efficient use of resources
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such in any major field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Time in Grade Requirement GS-09: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade GS-07 (or equivalent).
PHYSICAL DEMAND
The work requires regular and recurring physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching and similar activities in and around an industrial storage or comparable work area.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in an office setting but is frequently required to visit warehouse and storage sites. Such work involves moderate risks or discomforts. Protective equipment, such as steel-toe reinforced shoes; safety glasses, loves, etc. are issued or available.
