The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the planning, coordinating and administering of resources for an education and training program.
Duties
Assists the Registrar for the School of Aerospace Medicine.
Manages student accounting actions, student transportation/lodging/dining, and issuance of student instructional materials.
Responsible for the data input and accuracy of all training in the OTA database for student accounting actions relating to entries/completions and class rosters to include the data management and quality control of the OTA database.
Utilizes knowledge of existing, new or revised directives, policies, and procedures related to the registrar functions to review all disenrollment actions, make recommendations, and ensure packages are in total compliance.
Provides scheduling assistance and advice with emphasis on meeting USAFSAM academic training requirements.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have or will have within 120 days of closing of this announcement, one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DU-02/GS-5/6 (or higher) grade level or equivalent (may have been obtained in the federal service, military, or public sector). Specialized experience is experience assisting in the planning, coordinating, and administering of resources for an education and training program. Experience can include building classes in Oracle Training Administration (OTA), and/or other student information systems, updating class and student status information including no-show and disenrollment, managing student instructional materials, or ensuring accuracy of student and class information. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.

EDUCATION: Successfully completed 1 full year of graduate level education OR superior academic acheivement. NOTE: You must submit a copy of transcripts.

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of transcripts.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
