Duties
Advise on a variety of management services essential to the direction and efficient operation of the Directorate.
Maintain a comprehensive Manpower database to store management information.
Notify management of new or revised administrative policies, regulations, and procedures.
Responsible for the development and execution of the directorate Administrative Management Program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel required 10% of the time.
- Maybe subject to a one-year probationary period

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Implementing manpower policies and procedures for an organization; (2) Utilizing a Government Purchase Card in order to review and record purchases; (3) Coordinating and preparing a wide variety of personnel actions; AND (4) Maintaining military personnel data systems.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
