You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment/Placement) in the Command Operations Department of the Human Capital Management Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will review position information for submitted recruitment action for accuracy
You will advise on concerning appropriate action to take in response to personnel programs affecting work operations.
You will perform job analysis to develop qualification requirements and applicant evaluation techniques, consistent with OPM qualification criteria and methodology.
You will advise managers on flexibilities and restrictions outlined in pay rules and regulations
You will coordinate with multiple parties (e.g., multiple commands, agencies, human resources offices) to resolve human resources issues
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing a variety of standardized internal/external recruitment strategies to aid in strategic recruitment planning; 2) Advising management with solutions involving highly complex human resources issues primarily in staffing and compensation in a timely matter; 3) Interpreting and applying position classification standards to positions and determining the correct pay category, occupational series, title, and grade level; and 4) Analyzing compensation laws and regulations to assist in developing guidance and other informational and training materials for managers and employees.
