You will serve as a SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR in the UNDERSEA WEAPONS DEPT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
Duties
You will be responsible for engaging with all Simple Acquisition Procurement (SAP) Requirement Generators (RG) from the initial SAP planning, award, post award and contract close-out.
You will track all actions for department’s SAP portfolio and become subject matter expert on SAP procurement requests and purchase order
documents, including sub-processes.
You will coordinate acquisition work packages; data call responses; verify raw metric information, tabulate, and maintain metrics; and attend Integrated Product Team meetings as needed as to provide subject matter expertise and guidance.
You will perform quality reviews of acquisition package documents, to include but not limited to Statements of Work, Independent Government Estimates, market research, procurement checklists and other documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
You will review regulations, instructions, and policy memoranda, and based on analysis of these changes determine best method of implementing changes in the acquisition process within the Department.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For the GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing acquisition management to ensure financial and technical compliance with contract terms and conditions. Examples of qualifying experience may include: developing acquisition documents; analyzing requisitions and statements of work; or maintaining an acquisition database to ensure compliance with policies and regulation.
For the GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing acquisition management support functions to ensure financial and technical compliance with contract terms and conditions. Examples of qualifying experience may include: developing acquisition documents; analyzing requisitions and statements of work; or maintaining an acquisition database to ensure compliance with policies and regulation.

Education
The following education may be substituted for specialized experience at the GS-11:
A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
An LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
