You will serve as a Task Order Manager delegated by the Contracting Officer to assist in the technical monitoring and administration of tasks awarded against multi-million-dollar engineering and technical support service contracts of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).

Duties
You will monitor work performance provided by commercial vendors as outlined in the contracts.
You will assess contractor delivered products/services for conformance to contract requirements and take any necessary corrective action.
You will establish performance measures for the contract and measure contractor performance against the baseline.
You will work with the Contracting Officer to provide continuous savings over the life of the contract.
You will provide technical authority and direction, within the scope of the contract and Contracting Officer delegation.
You will communicate with the contracting officer on a routine basis regarding contractor oversight and performance and maintain required documentation to support monitoring Contractor performance.

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assessing contracts, interacting with private contractors, and analyzing proposals to support engineering and technical service contracts. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include writing performance-based statements of work and instruction on how to translate requirements into performance objectives with clearly defined outcomes; interpreting Navy and DoD policies, guidelines, and regulations; researching contract compliance issues; issuing guidance and advice on behalf of the Contracting Officer.
