You will serve as a Test Experimentation & Planning Specialist in the Test & Evaluation Department of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, WA (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).

Duties

You will plan experimentation events and observe and identify systematic problems; making on-site analysis of situations and taking corrective action. You will plan budgets and workload involving all core competencies and functions of the organization. You will develop system or product specific engineering changes as needed. You will review test plans, support documents, quality assurance plans, failure analysis, logistic products, test and evaluation plans, etc. You will assign work to project leaders and teams within the group and negotiate for project support outside of the group.

Requirements

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning projects and events, including developing budgets and workload, for experimentation, test, and experimentation systems/technologies to ensure program execution. For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with planning projects and events, including drafting budgets and workload to ensure program execution.
