You will serve as a Technical Project Manager in the Technical Project Management Branch; Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. NT-05 is equivalent to GS-13/14.
This position is salary capped GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435). See "Additional Information" section.
Duties
You will establish and implement corporate objectives, identify customer requirements, establish clear and achievable objectives, and track and report project status.
You will coordinate with the Performing Division Manager, approve the appointment of Task Managers, and coordinate with various Financial Management Core Teams and Project Analysts to establish funding structure and execution of workload.
You will analyze performance indexes, such as schedule performance, cost performance, percent complete, and percent spent.
You will identify trends and recommend necessary action to resolve current or potential performance, resource, or funding problems.
You will be responsible for initiating, planning, monitoring, reporting, and closeout of an assigned portfolio of projects.
You will be responsible to customer for maintaining project cost, schedule, and quality, and participate in Customer Feedback Process in accordance with customer coverage models.
You will prepare/input Workload Acceptance Website (WAAP) packages for review by the Customer Advocate (CA) and ensure project is in compliance with annual NAVSEA planning guidance (i.e. Project Planning Tool).
You will participate in workload, technical capabilities, strategic and other planning development activities with the Customer Advocate, Chief Strategist, and ensure compliance with Task Management Policy and 5000-Ser ED-Cost Estimating Guidance.
You will review Project Proposals for alignment to Crane Integrated Command strategy and Warfare Center Technical Capabilities.
You will ensure cost estimates, definitive tasking, and SOWs are clearly defined between Crane and the customer relative to cost, quality, schedule.
You will manage project risk in accordance with the Risk Management Plan.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading the analysis or planning of warfare system projects to ensure efficient or effective technical project implementation.
