This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. You will serve as a Management & Program Analyst in the Spectrum Warfare Department, Maritime Electronic Warfare Systems Division, Legacy Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering Branch (Code WXMM) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division.

Duties

You will provide planning, analysis, coordination, review and execution of the organization's project(s). You will lead efforts with key organizational personnel on and off center in developing, negotiating, controlling and coordinating program requirements including identifying the scope and nature of tasks to be performed. You will continually monitor and analyze projects and overall program direction based on reviews and provide vital data for participants in planning meetings. You will work with other logistics and technical personnel to adjust work schedules and workload and negotiate the resolution of problems or conflicts that impede progress in completing requirements. You will identify potential problems, trends, funding imbalances and problems and recommend new program/project direction. You will participate in a variety of meetings and briefings to support the organization and Program Office(s).

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying analytical and evaluative techniques to measure program effectiveness or organizational productivity.
