About the Position: Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) mission statement: To receive, store, ship, produce, renovate and demilitarize conventional ammunition, missiles and related components to meet contingency requirements in support of the warfighter. The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 and 13.

Duties

Prepares supporting analytical documentation, briefings, and backup material to assist with process to justify/defend recommendations during manpower submissions. Maintains database (working TDA, on-line TDA system, etc.) to reflect organizational posture, strength accountability, and accommodate various reporting requirements. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Administers and coordinates manpower related programs and management studies throughout the organization. Proficient in manipulating and maintaining a variety of personnel and manpower-related databases.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • TDY travel is occasionally required.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties may be required.
