You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the PRODUCT SUPPORT BRANCH, MARITIME ELECTRONIC WARFARE SYSTEMS DIVISION, SPECTRUM WARFARE SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and on time installation of all engineering change proposals (ECP) across the Electromagnetic Warfare Division’s family of products. You will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, preparing cost estimates, negotiating resources and providing direct interface with sponsors. You will make recommendations on strategy based on program maturity. You will be responsible to communicate across functional areas to include engineering, product support, advance planning, installations, fleet support, and task management. You will report status directly to the customer to include plan of action and milestones, risk mitigation, cost, acquisition strategy and resource requirements.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing project plans and requirements to recommend strategies and implement Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) for an organization.
