You will serve as a SUPERVISORY REALTY SPECIALIST in the OVERSIGHT AND GOVERANCE DIVISION of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG SYSTEMS COMMAND PAC.

Duties

You will perform program execution and management for acquisition, management and disposal of real property and certain related personal property within the assigned areas. You will identify areas for improvement, study processes, recommend changes, study impacts, and assist with implementation. You will discuss real estate issues and gathers information for use in reengineering and resolving problems. You will make changes adjust schedules to meet and/or exceed the needs and expectations of customers and higher authority. You will evaluate quality and timelines of subordinates' work.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain a Level III (unlimited) Real Estate Contracting Officer warrant.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • May be required to work overtime.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining real estate contracting and procedures of real estate transactions; 2) Managing information associated with real estate projects, funding of renewals, budget materials, and personnel; 3) Providing advice on complex real estate issues and policies; 4) Overseeing the direction of an organizational real estate program; 5) Performing real estate project execution, program and resource management; and 6) Analyzing basic trends in federal/DoD and private sector real estate, organizational alignment, strategic management, and functional/process alignment for improvement.
