You will serve as a REALTY SPECIALIST in the REAL ESTATE BUSINESS LINE of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG SYSTEMS COMMAND PAC.
A post allowance amount, (otherwise known as: COLA), of 8.9% will be added to the stated salary. Post allowance is subject to change at any time. For additional information, please refer to the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Chapter 5 Part B.
Duties
You will develop basic contract requirements documentation for real estate instruments with minimal review/input.
You will perform contract administration functions for real estate agreements covering federal and non-federal use of government facilities.
You will function as the assistant time-keeper for the Business Line
You will prepare real estate approval documentation for contract execution.
You will develop documents necessary to accomplish in-grants, out-grants, reassignments and/or transfers.
You will document and disseminate information, policy guidance, and procedures in the form of instructions, agreements, official correspondence, manuals or other documents.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the development of basic contract documentation requirements for real estate; 2) Updating records and querying reports in e-Projects and Real Estate Services (RES) Inventory; 3) Ensuring compliance with multiple statutes, policies and instructions and processes for the real estate acquisition, disposal, and management of real property in the support of Real Estate Business Line (REBL); 4) Assisting in transactions and components of transactions including realty planning for acquisition, in-leasing, out-grants, management, and disposals of interests in real property; 5) Maintaining financial and Real Estate Contracting Officer files and resolving payment problems and discrepancies that arise. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
