This position is in Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights, Office of Resource Management and Communications.  This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.*Work-from-home flexibilities may be authorized as described in the Benefits section. Qualifications

NOTE:  You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for the GS-12 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level defined as applying human capital management initiatives within an organization; analyzing and/or advising on human resources issues within an organization; or analyzing and/or advising on workforce utilization or position management within an organization. Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: 1) Knowledge of human capital management concepts, principles and practices; 2) Skill in written communication; 3) Ability to provide advice and guidance concerning an organization’s human resources programs; 4) Skill in oral communication; 5) Ability to guide management in the development of staffing and recruitment strategies; 6) Skill in analyzing program operational issues; 7) Knowledge of position management and/or workforce utilization principles and practices. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
