You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Resources organization. You will provide evaluations to management of the effectiveness of the program and/or area of responsibility in support of programs and projects such as Space Station, Launch Services, Commercial Crew, Exploration Ground Systems, Project Integration, Exploration, and Institutional Projects.
Duties
Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
Supports the Office of the Chief Financial Officer for Resources division specializing in budget planning and execution for assigned programs and projects.
Develops Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) products on an annual basis for operational content areas.
Works with technical counterparts to coordinate inputs on a monthly and annual basis in support budget and financial management tasks.
Creates programmatic products addressing reporting or data requests to provide support to programs and projects.
Ensures cost, schedule, and technical integration inputs are aligned with program priorities while monitoring program and project plans.
Monitors budget expenditures to identify potential problem areas and reports to budget leads for integration and recommendations.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level
Utilizing tools for developing, coordinating, and managing budgetary resources, including monitoring, and inspecting costs;
Preparing monthly status of funds to ensure that budget expenditures are accurate and allowable based upon the annual plan;
Consolidating or integrating information gathered from multiple sources and presenting that data to inform budget submissions.
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.
Developing budgets in support of financial management execution functions for the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process;
Analyzing financial and budget data for status of funds, baseline / performance and milestone tracking, and variance analysis;
Coordinating with diverse audiences, such as internal and external stakeholders, to support programs/projects.
