You will serve as a Strategic Plans and Policy Program Manager withinHEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will provide input for the development of USINDOPACOM contingency plans and annexes.
You will attend all required plan and assessment meetings as related to the contingency plans and host or participate in applicable conferences both physically and virtually.
You will initiate preparation of timely reports, providing analysis on immediate or long-term subjects as self-generated or required.
You will coordinate with subject matter experts on the Joint Staff and other combatant commands in the development of plans.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Leading and participating in Joint Planning Groups with subject matter experts to produce high-level briefings given to four-star officers and SES-level officials, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Secretary of Defense.
2. Coordinating the fusion of USINDOPACOM, joint, national, and ally capabilities into contingency planning. Managing planning group sessions to guide the interaction between the Commander and staff, and the staffs of higher, lower, and supporting commands.
3. Liaising with U.S. diplomatic missions, DoD agency headquarters, the Military Departments, USINDOPACOM Component headquarters, and other agencies as required.
