Duties
Serves as a Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) EEO Specialist, responsible for assisting the Command Deputy EEO Officer (CDEEOO) with the inclusion of NAF activities Marine Corps-wide in the Marine Corps’ EEO program. This Position is located in the Civilian Personnel/Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Branch, Manpower Plans and Policy Division, Manpower and Reserve Affairs Department, Headquarters, United States Marine Corps. Provides expert technical advice and guidance to the NAF workforce on all manner of EEO programs and services as the NAF AEP Manager and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on NAF personnel policy.

Qualifications
Bachelor¿s Degree from an accredited college or university in a field appropriate to the work of position AND a minimum of THREE years¿ experience and comprehensive and thorough knowledge of EEO laws, regulations, Executive Orders, court decisions, etc., and skill to apply this knowledge to a variety of difficult and complex work assignments; OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Knowledge of the Marine Corps NAF organizational structure, management policies, personnel procedures, and practices of the Agency. Thorough and detailed knowledge of and skill in using, methods and techniques for the EEO program including fact-finding, analysis and resolution of complex problems. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with, and gain the confidence and cooperation of employees, supervisory and managers on difficult and complex issues. Ability to express self orally and in writing in a highly professional manner, sufficient to prepare and conduct briefings to an audience of high-ranking military and civilians, to meet and deal with diversified groups, individuals and organizations, to compose written reports and material clearly, concisely and effectively, to prepare and present findings and to recommend and/or carry out specific action(s) regarding difficult issues, and/or develop and provide program training, and/or prepare instructions. Ability to travel, if required.Telework: Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MF policy.
