You will serve as a LEAD PROGRAM ANALYST in the PHYSICAL READINESS PROGRAM SECTION of NAVY CULTURE AND FORCE RESILIENCE OFFICE.

Duties

You will provide technical expertise and leadership in gathering, analyzing, evaluating and maintaining various data storage files on the Navy Physical Readiness Program. You will facilitate and conduct “Train the Trainer” sessions to certify Command Fitness Leader (CFL) instructors to execute the CFL Certification Course. You will provide policy oversight and guidance regarding the Fitness Enhancement Program, Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) including risk factor screening, body composition assessments, and Physical Readiness Test (PRT). You will develop plans, monitor progress, and report results in terms of effectiveness, return on investment, cost benefits, and life cycle cost for assigned projects. You will be responsible for monitoring and contributing policy input on DoD and Navy instructions and directives, both published and in program, which impact physical readiness. You will develop and analyze physical readiness metrics to assess program measures of effectiveness and to identify, quantify, and report intended and unintended impact on the program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Some evening/weekend hours and infrequent travel may be required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Administering and implementing physical readiness and wellness programs in accordance with Congress and Department of Defense laws, policies and regulations; 2) Extracting information from DoD automated systems/databases to evaluate military physical fitness and wellness programs; 3) Developing policies, guidelines, procedures, and budgets to attain program objectives utilizing available resources; and 4) Applying analytical and evaluative methods to assess complex information and prepare informative reports and presentations.
