About the Position: This position is with the U.S. Army Forces Command, G3/5/7 Directorate Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Fort Bragg is known as the "Home of the Airborne and Special Operations Forces." It is a culturally diverse area with both rural and city populations and is co-located at Fayetteville, NC. It is centrally located just hours away from the beautiful beaches of North Carolina and the scenic Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains.
Duties
Integrate Army Campaign Plan (ACP) into total Army processes and systems.
Provide analysis of ACP plan and issues to inform senior leaders.
Develop plans to facilitate command's campaign plan program.
Develop and provide information, guidance, briefings and other products on ACP / Army transformation issues and actions.
Develop insights and recommendations on Army transformation and institutional adaption initiatives.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Must be able to travel 20% percent of the time.
- In accordance with AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, employee must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- This position may require a one-year probationary period.

Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience in: (1) Analyzing programs and polices affecting Army transformation; (2) Integrating complex staffing actions across a senior level staff; (3) Forming, managing and directing teams; (4) Utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze transformation initiatives affecting ACP development and execution; and (5) Utilizing oral and written communication techniques to develop and present analyses and issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
