You will serve as a ASSISTANT DRUG AND ALCOHOL PROGRAM ADVISOR of NAVAL AIR TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER.
Duties
You will have knowledge of the Drug Treatment Programs sufficient to gather data, compile reports, and make recommendations based upon analysis of information using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
You will have the ability to safeguard confidential drug testing and treatment information.
You will have knowledge of DoD Directives, DoD Instructions, and local policies governing military treatment options and handling personally identifiable information.
You will have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing in order to present briefings and prepare status reports.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete the Command DAPA Course within 90-days of assuming duty.
- This position requires that applicants must not have an alcohol incident within 2-years of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Gathering, correlating, summarizing, and interpreting a variety of data and to analyze implications, project trends , and apply conclusions in devising solutions to problems; 2) Maintaining and retrieving organizational and/ or program data and to compile reports, produce charts and graphs, or monitor project or program status; and 3) Utilizing standard office equipment, systems databases, computers, applications, and software sufficient to research, prepare, enter, maintain, retrieve, and distribute data and information related to drug and alcohol program operations.
