You will serve as an Administrative Support Assistant (Office Automation) in the Academics Department of NAVMED OPER TRNG CENTER.
Duties
You will serve as the primary student control office and central point of contact.
You will support new students with the system authorization access request for Navy personnel (SAAR-N).
You will facilitate all students permanent change of station (PCS) travel claims and liquidations.
You will perform clerical and office duties.
You will prepare students graduations folder that contain the graduation certificate.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized Experience. Examples of Qualifying Experience:
Experience using automated system (e.g., management information system, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to extract information.
Experience assisting with clerical and administrative functions to support the needs of the organization.
Experience preparing reports and maintaining documents in electronic files for easy retrieval.
Experience with student control and administrative support functions.
Experience working with Defense Travel System (DTS).
Experience reviewing forms and instructions ensuring they are approved and controlled.

Education

Successfully completed one full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled.
OR
Combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
