You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (OA) for the NAVAL AVIATION SCHOOLS COMMAND.
Duties
You will assist staff with questions and issues related to administrative functions.
You will assemble documents into records or files according to subject matter.
You will use office automation software (e.g., Access, Word, Excel) to input visit clearances in accordance with current travel regulation.
You will discuss assignments with others to accomplish work-related activities
You will research rules, regulations, and procedures to resolve questions or issues.
You will create copy, edit, calculate, revise, retrieve, store and print a wide variety of documents in final format form.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Utilization of Office Automated computer systems, Microsoft Office Applications and software; 2) Applying current knowledge of operating eNAVFIT program along with the policies and procedures; 3) Maintaining an up to date knowledge on organizational policies, rules, regulations, manuals, and standards such as the Navy Correspondence Manual.
