This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13. You will serve as a Scheduling Program Analyst for both Freedom and Independence Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) variants within the Littoral Combat Ship Program Office (PMS 501) of the Program Executive Office, Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC).

Duties

You will apply complex qualitative and quantitative principles of analysis to shipbuilder submitted Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to formulate and project the achievement of ship construction milestones. You will leverage the IMS analysis output to identify and map programmatic critical paths based on predecessor and successor relationships to feed the Program Master Planning Schedule. You will assist in risk management and mitigation to project and understand potential shipyard manning shortfalls at the trade level. You will develop models to analyze impacts to overall shipyard productivity using manpower, schedule and workload data and develop performance adjusted schedules to support quarterly reviews of the shipyard.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-2 broadband level (GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying analytical and evaluative methods to analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, or productivity of administrative or technical programs.
