You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Internal Controls & Audit Division of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.
Duties
You will establish metrics or functional analysis systems to analyze efficiency, effectiveness, timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory procedures.
You will present findings and recommendations for improvements to managers.
You will recommend implementation risk strategies to correct internal controls and efficiency.
You will observe work in progress to identify problem areas (e.g., workflow, work methods, processes, procedures, task distribution, overall workload, forms, record keeping) requiring resolution.
You will advise managers in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and continuous process improvement (CPI) methodologies.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Oversee the overall operation of the command contract management program, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and agency policies. 2) Monitor the performance of the Continuous Process Improvement/LEAN Six Sigma Program and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives. 3) Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports on program performance to higher authorities. 4) Respond to audit findings by implementing corrective actions and improvements as necessary. and 5) Manage workload distribution and ensure the team is well-equipped to meet program goals.
