You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Program Executive Office (PEO) Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS) of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE IWS.

Duties

You will serve as a management advisor using a high-level of discernment and judgement to address a wide variety of interrelated subject matter to include financial, contractual, programmatic, or other program office focus areas. You will attend high level meetings as a senior authoritative representative of acquisition programs. You will provide a wide range of substantive oral and written presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders. You will analyze and evaluate effectiveness of program requirements throughout the lifecycle. You will make determinations on resources to accomplish program objectives and apply technical expertise to various levels of operations. You will identify and facilitates potential solutions and evaluate technical, cost, and schedule implications of each viable solution. You will review and prepare program documentation to determine appropriate changes or corrective action.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating acquisition life cycle projects for combat systems or technologies in support of ship modernization and maintenance operations.
