This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: ABERDEEN PROV GRND / HARFORD / MARYLAND Full-Time 40 hours.
Duties
Work with stakeholder to document, plan, design, and deploy dataset, reports, applications, and other data analytic resources.
Work in various data analytic development platforms to build dataset, reports, applications, and other automated data analytic resources.
Use data and data analytic resources to draw and communicate meaningful conclusions, insights, and business recommendations.
Provide technical support to AMC enterprise data analytic and application development in the areas of LMP/SAP data tables, business processes, and coding.
Provide technical support to CECOM contracted application development in the areas of project documentation, LMP/SAP data tables, business processes, and coding.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Travel up to 25% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Level II Acquisition Certification within 24 months of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: using and analyzing the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Demand Planning and Supply Planning modules; applying process improvement and project management techniques such as business process mapping, SIPOC, and scrums; Army Supply Chain Management business processes and performance metrics; and experience developing data visualizations, reports, and dashboards such as Vantage, APAS, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar tools.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11/NH-02).
This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS 12 grade Step 01 to the highest equivalent GS 13 grade step 05 in the broadband. This position is covered by control points to account for variances in position responsibilities within the broadband. The Control Point for this position NH-03, Non-Supervisory, Journey Professional is $99,200 to $133,692 including locality at the rate of 33.26%. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position.
